Around campus, including the Student Centre and Lady Eaton College, queer flags are displayed; making queer students feel right at home on campus. As well, flags are presented in the windows of administration offices and store fronts in the Peterborough area.

June is Pride Month in Canada. Early June typically kicks off the Pride season of festivals and celebrations from coast to coast to coast that run until the end of August. The Peterborough Petes recognize that hockey still has a long way to go to make our sport inclusive for all, and that is a reflection of society as a whole.
